Our dental philosophy is…

After a thorough, complete interview and dental examination, we will present to you the dental care options we would offer our families or ourselves. Then, after addressing all of your questions and concerns, you can choose the treatment plan that best suits you.

We offer some unique services that you won’t find in most other dental offices:

Dental Implants

Titanium implants inserted into the jawbone to replace missing teeth are an alternative to bridges and loose-fitting dentrues. They are also used to retain and stabilize dentures already present.

Laser dentistry treats you better!

The use of lasers is changing dentistry as we know it today. We use several different lasers in our office which allow us to do some dentistry better than before, and some treatment that was never possible before.

The Waterlase laser , is an alternative to the dreaded drill in many cases. It's an Erbium YSGG laser that uses air, water and laser energy to gently and very conservatively remove decay from a tooth, most always without the need for numbing. And you don't hear the whine of the drill, just a gentle "popping" sound similar to popcorn popping.

Our HGM Argon Laser is a very effective alternative to the scalpel and stitches in dental/periodontal surgery. It allows softer, cleaner surgery with less discomfort, bleeding and swelling afterwards. That means faster and easier healing - great news for gum disease treatment. This laser is also used for bleaching teeth and hardening tooth-colored fillings.

We also use Low Power Laser Energy to effectively treat many common dental pain conditions like hypersensitive teeth, sore jaw muscles and joint pain. We can usually stop the pain, and speed the healing of cold sores and injuries of the mouth and lips.

Dr. Doing is a certified member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Please ask us more about how our dental lasers may be of help to you.

Bad breath a problem for you or someone you know?

Most of the time, chronic halitosis comes from foods or problems inside the mouth like gum disease. But sometimes it can be a symptom of an underlying disease like diabetes, or from some medication you are taking. We can usually find the causes and then work out a plan of action to help control the breath problem using the Breath Rx program from Discus Dental Products company, one of the best products we have come across.

How about crowns and inlays in one appointment, start to finish?

With the CEREC 2 CAD/CAM system, we can prepare the tooth and take an optical "impression" using a special camera. Then, the computer-controlled milling machine will create a filling or crown out of a tooth-colored porcelain block in a matter of minutes, right before your eyes! We then strongly bond this restoration onto your tooth immediately, not in two to three weeks like with a laboratory-made restoration. This means you don’t have to come back for yet another visit to get your restoration placed. We can’t use this method in every situation, but it looks like we are going to more and more in the future. And as the software technology advances, even bridges will be possible.
